Looking for great quilt block patterns? You're at the right place.
There are an endless array of quilt block patterns available. Many
you can get for free. Some are easy to assemble, while others
are quite intricate. Just a few are mentioned here.
Basic Patchwork such as nine patch is often used by Amish quilters.
There is the star quilt pattern which has hundreds of variations.
Missouri puzzle is a star like pattern with a large nine patch pattern
in the center. The nine patch is just like it sounds- three rows of
squares each three blocks wide. The pinwheel pattern is eight half
triangles. Each half triangle is a different fabric color and when sewn
together resembles a pinwheel. The log cabin pattern is easy to piece
and is a great choice for the novice quilter. The spool pattern consists
of five easy pieces to cut and assemble. Then there is the tree block
which is fun and easy to assemble.
Of course there are many, many more intricate patterns, including the
Bethlehem Star, the Roman Square, Attic Windows just to name a few.
Whether you're a novice quilter, an expert quilter or anywhere in between,
this site provides information for all.
